The Rotary Club of Nalumunye delivers targeted, community-led projects across health, education, environment, youth empowerment and inclusive livelihoods designed to meet urgent local needs and build sustainable impact.
Environmental Conservation & Biodiversity

Nalumunye Tree Renewal Campaign: Monthly community tree-planting events with an annual target of 5,000 native trees; nursery beds established at Nalumunye Primary to supply saplings and teach seedling management.

Riverbank Restoration: Riparian reforestation and anti-erosion work along the local stream, combined with community clean-ups to protect aquatic biodiversity.

School Eco-Clubs: Interact clubs at two secondary schools run seed collection, tree-care rotations and biodiversity awareness sessions for nearby households.
Maternal & Child Health (MCH)

Nalumunye Maternity Strengthening Project: Refurbish and equip the maternity ward at the community health centre, train birth attendants in emergency obstetric care, and run outreach antenatal clinics.

In addition to making a consistent impact, you'll also receive exclusive updates on our projects and events, as well as special recognition for your ongoing support.
Members are expected to make their best effort to attend club meetings and participate in the club events, activities, committees, service work and project planning. They must pay annual dues to the Club. The Club encourages members to aspire to club leadership or committee roles.
If you’re interested in joining the Rotary Club of Nalumunye, submit the Inquire Form, and the club will be in touch with you. A person being considered for membership is invited to attend one or more club meetings to learn more about Rotary and the club. The candidate’s name will be submitted to the club's membership committee for recommendation and Board of Directors for approval. At that point, the prospective member will be inducted into the Club. Please note that membership in a Rotary club is by invitation.
A prospective member must be a person of good character with a good business, professional, or community reputation and also be one of the following:
- A current or former professional, proprietor, executive, manager, or community leader
- Committed to service with a record of personal involvement
- A Rotary Foundation alumnus

The members of these autonomous clubs are called Rotarians, and they form a global network of 1.2 million business and professional leaders, all volunteering their time and talents to serve their communities and the world.
